Office 2007/2010 Keystrokes for Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

If you are using Microsoft Office 2007 or 2010 and would like to become more proficient by using keystrokes (the more you keep your hands on the keyboard, the more efficient you become), use the ALT key.

When you press the ALT key in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint it assigns quick keys to each ribbon .  Press that quick key for the Ribbon you want to move to and all commands on that Ribbon are assigned another quick key .  Press that quick key to execute the command.  Its as easy as that!

These are called “Visual Keystrokes”!  Now you don’t have to try and remember all keystrokes – they are right there for you!

Note: Any keystrokes you used in previous versions of Office still work in Microsoft Office 2007/2010.
